Preschool Fair Next Week!

The MOMS Club of Silver Spring West is hosting its annual, incredible, mark-your-calendars-don't-you-dare miss it pre-school fair on Tuesday November 18. The fair will be held from 10am-noon at Crossway Community Center, located at 3015 Upton Drive, Kensington, MD 20895. MAP

The event is totally free, open to all interested parents and there will be at least 18 area schools represented. Schools from Silver Spring, Wheaton, Kensington, Chevy Chase, Garrett Park and Rockville will be represented. Play-based, co-operative, community, neighborhood, Montessori, Waldorf, Christian, Jewish, Catholic and nondenominational programs (and various combinations thereof) will be represented. The event will be held in a large gymnasium with activities for children provided in the center, so parents that bring their kids will have ways to keep them occupied while they speak to school representatives and collect information. However, your child will not be evaluated in any way, so no need to bring him or her along if they have prior social engagements...and no need to stress if Junior has a massive meltdown in front of a preschool director. They've seen it ALL before and this is simply a casual way for parents to check out schools well before formal registrations begin.
